RPGS Walking Group

The Walking Group used to be a regular feature for many years and run by Brian Kitching. It has now recently been taken up again, organised this time by Syd House, aided and abetted by his wife, Nicky.  They hope that the group will meet for at least four decent day walks throughout the year with smaller walks, some as walking tours with guides, at other times. The Walking Group intends to cater for all abilities and welcomes everyone. As we are in the early phase of reorganising the group we are still setting dates and getting feedback from members on what suits everyone. It seems a mix is appreciated so there will be a programme of longer hikes and shorter walks to suit all abilities and interests. At present the first walk takes place on May the 7^th. This is a historical walking tour of Perth, led by Nicky and starts with coffee in the Club at 9.30 am, a walk around Perth visiting sites of historical interest and finishing at the Club in time for a light lunch at 12.30.
