RPGS Book Group
The RPGS book group meets every month from September to June. The group is open to all keen readers and we try to accommodate all literary tastes! Previous books include Joseph Knight by James Roberston, The Fair Botanists by Sara Sheridon, What we did in the Dark by Ajay Close and James by Percival Everitt. Ahead of our meetings we circulate questions to help our discussions and everyone gets to make suggestions on what to read next. We like to rotate the days we meet in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. This means we meet for a light lunch on any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 12.30 and after soup and sandwiches, we sit in the lounge over tea and coffee and discussion starts from around 1.30 until 3ish. It’s a very informal group, everyone is welcome and if you can only do some dates and not all that’s no problem.

We hope to have some author talks or other book-related events in the future and we also anticipate some readings, maybe an atmospheric ghost story at Halloween or a Christmas story possibly in the evening. Outings to larger book festivals are possible and all suggestions for book related events are very welcome.
